The wonder of autumn

Whilst the dew descends on the earth in the early morning, and the sun breaks through the clouds, I can smell the seasons change from Summer to Autumn. I feel the sun warm my cheeks as the wind whips around my face and I smile into the showers. This is my season and what a glorious season it is!

I have been so ready for the start of Autumn! The sunny long afternoons that stretch into freezing evenings are greatly received, especially with the beauty of nature and stillness that comes with it. Of course, it wouldn't be autumn without my array of colourful scarves. I haven't bought any new ones just yet but my favourite one for chilly days is grey and covered in cute orange foxes from Etsy: https://www.etsy.com/uk/listing/174664171/beige-fox-scarf-animal-printed-scarf?

My current go to, casual outfit is a comfy jumper, jeans and my long, navy, pea style coat. I have had this coat for 4 years now! And though I change my style all the time, this coat has lasted through it all. I do need a new one because I feel that this may be on its last legs. :( However, until then I will keep wearing it and sewing back on the buttons because it goes with everything and always keeps me warm.
My new scent this season is a bit different as it's from Avon. My sister has just started doing her own Avon and it's going really well for her which is very exciting. But as I thought I'd try it out, I bought the 'little black dress' fragrence and it's so lovely! It is one of those perfumes that make me feel grown up and sexy but isn't too strong. Very good for those long autumn nights and especially for bonfire night!

Ankle boots are my achilles heel (ironically) and I am always excited when I get to bust them out. My favourite this year is a pair I bought last year from George at Asda which are black faux suede with a small faux fur top and 1inch chunky heel. They are so comfy and have saved me when I needed to dress up but didn't want my feet to get cold.

So as the cold, frosty nights draw in and leaves me with misty breath I will be warm and wrapped up this year. And I can't wait for fireworks next week!
Take care
x
