Goals for 2016

Last year I had very unrealistic resolutions that I couldn't keep, mainly because I overestimated how well I was. So now I have some goals for this coming year that are much kinder and more achievable (hopefully).

  • To drink at least 1 litre of water a day: I know I should be drinking more than that, but at the moment I don't drink more than a glass so it's baby steps for me.
  • To practice positive thinking : I was very hard on myself last year, mostly for things that weren't my fault or were out of my control, so I want to change that this year and positive thinking is a good place to start.
  • To cook a new meal every week: I already started doing this at the end of 2015 but I will keep up with it this year. I love cooking so much so this will be a fun thing to do every week.
  • To learn a new cuisine (eg. Indian, Chinese): As above I love cooking but I am not very good with many asian or eastern europian dishes and I would love to just rustle up a meal that's not italian or english or a generic curry.
  • To do yoga once a month: Yoga is one of the few exercises I really enjoy and it's helped with stress and the pain my condition gives me so I hope I can keep this up.
  • To save money: Last year I spent a lot of money on my nephew or travelling to visit people so this year I hope I save any money I can get, wish me luck!
So there are my goals for the coming year and I hope this time next year I can say I've kept to them.
Take care
x
